I started a TikTok channel, and a friend said, “if you want to post and get followers, do your balloon videos.”

Driving men wild, one toe at a time.

I’ve been posting videos on YouTube almost as long as I’ve been blogging, 11 years blogging and 9 years on YouTube. I’ve been on TikTok since September 2021, and currently have about 3500 followers, which grows by the hour. My friends are taking interest in my balloon fetish. Many have come over and hang out, playing with balloons because….IT’S FUN! We have a fantastic time and it’s not weird for anyone. Some have entered Pattie’s Balloon Studio skeptical, but they all leave loon lovers. My husband isn’t into being on camera, so he usually my camera man. Lucky guy. 😉

Suntan feets

I started going live on TikTok. In fact, I’m going to live again soon. I’m currently in TikTok jail for 2 days for violating community standards one too many times, within a certain timeframe. That is a bunch of crap, but whatever. I can’t help it I’m sexy. The violations were posts, not me saying or doing something that was reported. TikTok is a time wasteland (I’ve been sucked into), and it’s crazy what people will report as a violation, but two seconds later, a picture of a hot 24 year old will stream by topless, and that’s ART.

WELL, I’m ART too, with my balloons. Ask thousands of looners and feet lovers. I have the cutest (and I’m told sexiest) feet ever with or without nylons.

Who doesn’t love silk thigh highs?

Worthy of TikTok jail, as I now known.

It’s been a few weeks since I’ve started posting balloon videos and talking to other looners again. Often they message with videos they want. Some of the requests I get are not surprising, others raise my eyebrows. I will never mention anyone’s name or information that would reveal who they are. Privacy is important, but writing about this experience is a way for others to learn.

The standard request. . .if I will hump a balloon (simulating sex) and that will always be a no. I do sit pop, and sometimes it’s a struggle to get those good balloons to blow, but I am not simulating sex. I am just fighting good latex to the death.

I get asked to act like other people. I take the time to learn who they want me to write about, or act like, and why. Once I know what they want to hear a story about, I will take it from there. Writing is my thing, before balloons even. I will take whatever is floating around in their head and give it structure.

Very popular is cigarette popping videos. I could probably do them everyday and get twice as many followers, but I quit smoking in 2013. I need to come up with something else to use. I’m thinking incense sticks…?

I look mean. I am not. 🙂

Inflatables is another popular request. Yes, I do love blowing up inflatables. I will make a video for you of me blowing one up that you choose to send. Pool toys are awesome fun. I love the giant heart float that was a gift.

The strangest request I’ve received was if I would stab a soccer ball with a knife.

Yeah, that raised my eyebrows.

I just can’t stop

I’m working on etching tonight, and posting on TikTok and YouTube. That’s my usual steps in posting. I started this weird combo of posting my etching art and balloon videos on TikTok. It seems to be working. My art room was formerly a beauty salon. There’s big mirrors on the one wall, but that is the only remaining part of the salon. Now, it’s my scrapbook table, turned into my work desk, a 10 foot table that is on lifts to make standing more comfortable, and an 8 foot counter and cabinets on the far wall. This is my favorite room in the house. It’s the messiest all the time. It’s all mine.

Unless there’s a cat in the room. Then it’s all theirs.

If you follow my YouTube, Insta, or TikTok, all Girlboxer1970, you’ll see my office. I do many videos in there for etching and balloons. There’s also my Facebook page Girlboxer1970.com. I am all over social media because, free promoting! I enjoy having fun. I like having friends over for drinks and to bullshit. And, what I really like, is to get balloons out and have people blow them up with me. I try to get them to fill them with air until they explode!!

These were a gift from a looner friend. I love them!!!

Why do I do this?

I like blowing up balloons and popping them, alone or with friends. I think it’s fun. Exciting. Stimulating. Throw in a shot of my fav, Rumplemintz 101, and it’s a looner’s dream party, latex scent lingering in the air.

I like how balloons feel. They are soft and squishy when they are under-filled. When air has been forced in, they over-expand, their skin is tight and squeaky to touch. They are so delicate, yet can take so much punishment. They can explode without even being touched. . .

Do you see why I like balloons?

Looner Study: What I learned from liking balloons

I did an interview with Practitioner’s TV about balloons. This YouTube channel is out of Philadelphia and came to visit me to learn about what looners are and balloon & latex fetishism, based on a paper I wrote while in York College of PA in May of 2012. I agreed to the interview because I was promised the show was to promote acceptance rather then ostracize those who love balloons. The interview will be release this Thursday, June 22, 2017.

I have never shared the results of my questionnaires with anyone other than my professor and people who submitted responses and wanted to see the final thesis paper. I decided to share the paper now that the episode was coming out so people could see the full study along with the interview and the awesome song written by Dave DeHart of They & Them. Smell that Latex

My top 10 picks of pool toys I’d like to own (never mind I don’t have a pool) because I find them sexy.  The look, the feel, the smell…it’s not cotton. ~P.

A looner pointed out that these toys are actually vinyl, which I did know, but was afraid vinyl would make people think of smelling the siding on their home.

What is it about balloons that makes some people feel more than just an urge to smile?

Balloons come in all sizes, they are colorful, soft,make noise and have a unique smell.  Balloons stimulate all the senses: touch, sight, scent, hearing and taste.

Wait, taste?  Well, lick or bite a balloon.  That smell has a taste to go with it.

This common object–cheap, fragile and easy to obtain–is a source of pleasure to countless numbers of people.  If this confuses you, I completely understand.  After a year of research in multiple degrees of involvement, interviews, and textual reading, I fully understand the interest in balloon fetishism, a community which is exploding in size.  (Pardon the pun, I couldn’t resist.)

The looner community is rather secretive and the only reason is because this fetish somehow is mentally connected to pedophilia in the minds of many people, who are not stimulated by balloons .  Pedophilia is a mental illness that causes sexual attraction to children.  This is not a fetish.  Crimes are committed in the act of pedophilia.  There is no crime in being a looner, and the only negativity is that imposed by ignorant people, not willing to understand what this harmless fetish is truly about.

I need to start thinking of creative titles.  Not that publishers really let you pick your own title, but who knows.  I might get lucky.

Want to read about Looners?

Hello all….I am not able to publish my paper on balloon fetishist just yet.

If I am submitting to a magazine, scholarship, competition or scholarly journal, I don’t believe I can have previously published what I submit.

That’s the bad news.

The good news is if you email me a request to my school address at pcrider@ycp.edu I will send a portion of the paper.  State in your email that you will not share the segment without giving credit to me and my blogsite.  Everyone gets the same thing.  A preview I suppose as it’s actually not finished.  😉

The freaky boob find

I was blowing up balloons to fill my front window.  It’s not like the neighbors don’t know we pop balloons.  Dale is constantly worried about the pop, especially at night.  I try to stick to no popping after 9 PM…pushing it later now and then.
