It is safe to assume that across the county, and often world-wide, Lancaster, Pennsylvania is a town people have heard about and even traveled to visit. What the world did not know about is the secret society within this tight-knit, quiet community that places God above all. The secret organization, known now as the Amish Mafia, has come out of hiding after organizing in the late 17th century. The ease of a religious secret society to hide in a closed community is reasonable as the Amish have little interaction with those outside of their religion. They chose to live without what most people consider the basics in life. They have their own moral beliefs, rules, rituals and history to live by in addition to the traditional commandments upheld by those of the Christian faith. This paper will exam the traditional beliefs of the Amish community, the reality program produced by the Discovery Channel titled, The Amish Mafia, and the veracity of the televised program portraying the conspiracy of a secret organization hidden in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Writer’s Memo:
I love to write and do so almost daily in my blog. My subjects range from college essays, being a mom, divorce, and life in general. I have short stories, poems and photographs on my blog and try to make each entry unique and engaging. Most people don’t realize how deep my faith in God runs. I don’t push my beliefs on people, nor do I bark about them in person. But on my blog I am free to express myself however I would like. I show no fear on my blog and let no comments upset me. God and I are tight and I am keeping it that way.
My biggest struggle is to continue focusing on the present when I think the future will be ending soon. The borrowing money for student loans, making holiday plans and especially dates in the year 2013 are frustrating. I don’t want to or expect to be earth bound after December 21st 2012. My friends poke fun at me. So do my sons, now both adults. Jokes aimed at my religious beliefs are just their way of giving me a “hard time.” I don’t get upset or mad. I just laugh along with them. How can I laugh when they are making fun of me? Easy. If I’m wrong, I continue with life on December 22nd. If I’m right, I’m in Heaven with my maker testing out my new wings. I’ve always wanted to fly.

Facebook rules the world in a round-about way.
Yes, I know GOD rules the world. Please don’t comment to me that I am going to hell, I should be murdered, burned, suffer for all of eternity. The effect of those comments wore off after the first three.
When you want to communicate quickly, you use Facebook to get your message out fast and as far-reaching as possible. Instantly, you have just shared something, any bit of info sent electronically across the Internet, has just been released to the entire world.
Hell, even the word Internet is capitalized. It just became a proper noun and Facebook has become the link around the world that all connects us with God. There are churches, preachers, priests, pastors and more online. We all can be friends on Facebook, in fact, friend is now a verb; “Friend me, I’ll accept.”
The ability to touch the lives of people across the world instantly is a phenomenon that no one really talks about. Facebook is similar to a constantly in motion subway. People are able to jump on and off at will, with a click of their mouse. The ability to jump on and off a moving subway car comes at a price. Once information is shared, it is on the Internet forever. The good, the bad, the ugly.
Just wait. I’m telling you right now that on December 21st 2012 the Internet is going to crash. Maybe permanently! Imagine a world without the internet. You can’t do it can you?
The internet is many things: a link connecting most of the world to each other, a place to gather, a place to share information, a place to proclaim your belief of God (or not) and a place to sin. So much good, yet always there are the bad things that come from the Internet, meet on the internet, troll on the internet. The internet is not a safe place.
The Internet is my virtual life. Facebook connects me with the world and it is God’s filing system. God knew humans would get smarter than our britches and organize an endless, eternal pulse of energy that relays all our information effortlessly. Now we are screwed.
So I proclaim stuff all the time. I make shit up-from scratch-but I’m serious about God. That all knowing alien in the sky. Heck the Mayan’s even knew about Jesus Christ as his name is mentioned inside a ruin site as a returning prophet of the future. The visiting speaker on campus said that in his lecture in Demester Hall. That hall was packed to the gills. Standing room only for the witty speaker and his fresh take on the Apocalypse.
Poor Dale was stuck beside a guy with body odor issues. The dude beside me kept drifting off to sleep and even had the nerve to snore during this very important (to me) lecture. If he had become louder with his rudeness, I would have woke him and told him to get the hell out because he was ruining my listening experience.
I have many direct links to the Internet. The average person has at least one, but most likely, more than one. In total, I can access the web on: York College campus, my phone as a hotspot and direct link, Dale’s phone, my laptop, my son’s phone, Dale’s office, any McDonald’s, Rutters’, etc. Short of living in an undeveloped country, the Internet is available to everyone.
I read the sins of many on the Internet. The stories of murder, rape, child abuse, tragedy. This world is a disgusting place that causes my stomach to twist into knots. If God is looking down on us and here to save us, how can life as we know it continue? Humans have disappointed God in every possible way. When will that change? Ever? Please God, take me on December 21, 2012. I am ready for your call.
Could the apocalyptic signs talked about in the Bible be true and we are nearly at the end of the world? No one knows but God. He is the only one who knows the true end of days. The preparation for the end of days is easy. Get right with God. Admit your sins and ask his forgiveness. The truth will set you free.
Free Internet would be great. It cost a fortune to have access at home and virtual sinning isn’t cheap.

DA: Lancaster pastor ‘terrorized’ kids – The York Daily Record.
I’m not sure what to think about this Lancaster pastor. Good intentions gone wrong would sum it up.
I understand what their goal was: to educate and bring awareness to what could happen on a missionary trip in a foreign country.
I’ve been on a missionary trip with a huge group of teenagers. We traveled as a group and rarely separated into groups of less than three. This was for our own protection.
(As a side note I will add that after our flight to California we went to eat at a fast food restaurant. When I came out of the restroom, I realized our entire missionary group had left in the two rented vans. Thank God it was me who was left behind because I don’t know how a teenager would have reacted. No one told us what hotel we were staying at and it took quite some time for me to even find our group and have them come back for me. Poor planning…everyone should have know what hotel we were staying at before continuing on to Mexico.)
Foreign countries are unpredictable. What this pastor staged has the real possibility of happening on a missionary trip. It takes faith in God to leave your home and enter foreign territory to spread His word.
What this Assembly of God Church should have done was inform the parents and youth what was going to happen. Even knowing it is staged would still get the point across. After the staged kidnapping, a discussion on how to react to capture should have taken place.
In my humble opinion, no teenagers should be taken to a hostile country for missionary purposes. Adult missionaries risk their lives to spread God’s word and understand the risks they are taking.
Teenagers believe they are indestructible.

On Tuesday, June 19, I had the television on the History channel and they were showing a marathon of Ancient Alien Theory, a show I absolutely love. Giorgio A. Tsoukalos is my favorite speaker on this show. He has crazy man hair and likes it.

I was listening to Giorgio talk about the Mayan calendar, extra-terrestrial life, UFOs, etc. and I was overcome with the desire to get my ass to Georgia to see the Georgia Guidestones. I don’t remember how I first heard about the stones but last year I watched Brad Meltzer’s Decoded episode featuring them. I also did a tremendous amount of research to make it part of my New Religious Movement final thesis. My fictional religion was based on the Guidestones and Lady Gaga as a charismatic leader for the apocalyptic end of the world.

Don’t be silly. I don’t believe Lady Gaga is going to take over the world even if she has enough little monsters following her to do so.
I had previously looked into traveling by train to Georgia but that didn’t seem like an appropriate action. I wanted to drive to Georgia in the worst way so I called for a car rental price. That was a no go because I didn’t have a major credit card or a job and Dale could not rent a car for me to drive. This was a very personal, spiritual trip that I wanted to take alone or possibly with my sister Suz. She just started a new job so she wasn’t going to be able to travel. With no way to legally rent a car, I decided I was going to take my 20 year old Honda Accord and travel in faith.
I planned to drive to Cummings, GA first (near Atlanta) and stay with Dale’s sister, Georgie. In my duffel bag I had a pair of jeans, a nice blouse, a York College t-shirt, two pair of shorts, swimsuit and other essentials I expected to need. Grabbed Ying’s dog food, my laptop, camera and cell and I walked out the door for Georgia at 1:30 PM without telling anyone.
A few hours into driving I texted Dale “I’ve got GA in my GPS!” and he responded “good!” It wasn’t until he came home from work that he realized I meant I was driving at that moment. My leaving without saying goodbye upset him and I completely understood why he was upset. I explained that I believe God wanted me to leave right then. I didn’t question myself with this belief and I didn’t want to give anyone the opportunity to question it. There would be no one trying to talk me out of driving my car over 1,000 miles to see this granite monument if Ying and I just left.
At first it seemed like I was making great time. I was passing through states quickly and my GPS (speaking in Spanish) gave an arrival time of 2:00 AM. I drove straight through to South Carolina before I stopped at midnight at a rest area and fell asleep in my car. Ying who had been napping the entire trip stood guard while I dozed. I awoke at 6 AM seriously cramped from sleeping in a Honda Accord. After a potty trip and some stretching, Ying and I hit the road.
We drove for about an hour and I couldn’t keep my eyes open. At the next rest stop I pulled off again and slept until 8 AM. I know the dangers of driving when you are so sleepy you can’t keep your eyes open. Another hour of rest did me wonders and for the second time on Wednesday, we left for Georgia.
At noon I noticed Elberton had popped up on the GPS and suddenly driving to Cummings first was no longer an option. I texted Dale I was going to the stones first, then to his sister’s house. That didn’t happen either…
I didn’t know the road the stones were on so I just put Elberton into the GPS. I saw the Georgia Guidestones on the hill before the GPS announced we were in Elberton. There was a small sign noting the Guidestones location on Guidestone Road. I had already passed the road so I turned around. If you are not looking, the sign and the stones would easily be missed.
At first I felt giddy at finally reaching my destination 24 hours after leaving Pennsylvania. But as I drove up the gravel road, I was overcome with emotion. This was not the reaction I had expected. Tears were flowing out of my eyes and my nose was running so bad it grossed me out. I had no tissues or napkins left in the car so I opted for my York College t-shirt. I couldn’t get out of my car at first, even after all that driving.
After making a video with Ying full of crying, blubbering and probably not making much sense, I exited my car and headed to the stones. There were other people there also. Two men appeared to be making a documentary and were interviewing another man. I didn’t pay much attention to them as I walked towards the stones. When I came around to the English inscription and read it in person, touching the granite, I lost it again.
The documentary guys had finished talking to the other man and now they were apparently watching me. I have no idea who they were and their white passenger van gave no clues to their business. No one else got out of the van even though I could see the outline of other people through the tinted windows.
The tears were really rolling while I leaned on that granite stone trying to grasp what all it meant for the future of the world. I tried to get a grip but it was pointless so I just bawled like a baby. I could hear the man with the video saying, “Now tell me people don’t believe what these stones say? There is a woman weeping on the monument and that is proof of belief.” How the hell did I wind up in this man’s video about the Georgia Guidestones? Neither man tried to speak to me and I was pleased. I didn’t drive there to have some religious debate or discuss my personal beliefs. That’s what I have a blog for.
Engraved on the stones:
A message consisting of a set of ten guidelines or principles is engraved on the Georgia Guidestones in eight different languages, one language on each face of the four large upright stones. Moving clockwise around the structure from due north, these languages are: English, Spanish, Swahili, Hindi, Hebrew, Arabic, Chinese, andRussian.
So why was I crying? Relief. I felt a huge relief. Maybe because my car made it and that was my goal. No, that’s not why. I cried because I am saved by the blood of Jesus Christ. When I read on these huge tablets that the population of the Earth will be reduced to 500 million people I interpret that as the apocalypse that is written about in the Bible. I’m not going to be one of the people left behind. On December 21, 2012 the Mayan calendar ends. What do a bunch of Mayan people know? I’m thinking they knew more about the Heavens then we will ever learn before the end of times. They didn’t just run out of rocks so there must be a reason the calendar ends on that day. I was at the Mayan ruins and there was no shortage of stones.
My religious beliefs are out there. I was raised in the Lutheran faith and I’m thankful for that. I learned all the Bible stories, went to Sunday school and VBS over the summers. I memorized the Lord’s Prayer, the Nicene Creed, Bible verses and songs. I believe what it says in the Bible. It’s not some fictional book full of crazy stories. It’s a non-fiction book full of crazy stories. All of the stories revolving around an alien named God who decided to create Earth and everything on it.
There were many people who came to see the stones in the 45 minutes I was there. I could tell by watching them who knew what the stones were all about and who was getting a shock by way of huge, granite tablets that day. Some were outraged and stated it was someone with money who wanted to cause a stir. That theory doesn’t work for me. The land had to be purchased, the monument drawn up on blueprints, and then taken to the granite company to be made and placed. This all happened in 1979-1980 so if the goal was just to stir things up in the world, it was a complete failure. Even in Georgia, people had no idea what I was talking about. Dale’s sister Georgie lives less than 2 hours from the monument and had never heard about it.
It was hot on that hill and there was no shade available other than standing under the capstone of the monument. Ying had crawled under my car to get out of the sun. I would have left the car run if I had air-conditioning but that took a shit back when the car was still my brother Sam’s. This trip has reminded me how luxurious cooled air is. I texted Dale I was leaving the stones and coming home. He asked why and I wrote back, “I saw what I came to see in GA.” I pushed the home button on my GPS and was headed back to Pennsylvania.
My faith in God is stronger than it has ever been and I am thankful he watched over me on my pilgrimage to see the Georgia Guidestones. ~P.

I wake up every morning because I’m not dead. That’s what everyone does, so I’m not special. I feel special though. Everyone should feel special now and then. It is good for the soul.
Alright, if you are reading this, you are not dead either. So let’s talk about this thing we all have to deal with: life. Life has its up and downs depending on how much money you have. Oops, that’s not right. Life has its up and downs no matter who you are or think you are. I’ve had people get in my face (or witnessed people in others faces) screaming, “Do you know who the fuck I am?” Usually they repeat the same line a few times to make their point. I’ve found that usually the person doing the yelling knows I know who they are. Perfect strangers don’t walk up and begin screaming in my face, “Do you know who the fuck I am?” Therefore the question really is pointless. Of course I know who you are, but if I ain’t fucking you or feeding you I don’t give a shit.
So this life thing is a relatively short period of time. Some people accomplish great things during their life while others don’t amount to Jack Squat. If you don’t know who Jack Squat is, you probably shouldn’t be reading this. In my short 41 years on this planet, I’ve done quite a bit. Two marriages, one divorce, three children, two careers and now attending college to make my work something I love to do, write! Attending college as an adult is incredibly rewarding, even more rewarding than attending as a teenager. As an adult, I never attend classes with a hangover.
Is 2012 the last year anyone gets to graduate from college? Think of all the consumer goods that have already been printed with dates past December 21, 2012. All the coffee cups printed with The Class of 2013 will never be drank from, the celebratory grad t-shirts never worn. I wouldn’t want to graduate in 2013 anyway, because thirteen is an unlucky number.
I’m ready! I’m ready! I’m ready for the end of the world. There really is not anywhere I would rather be than with my creator. While I cherish and love my family and friends here on earth, I know even after my death, I will have the opportunity to see them again. Being that we are all saved and not going to hell, that is. I’m saved and have no fear of dying, unless it is a long, drawn out, painful death. God bless those martyrs through-out time. I don’t know if I could have burned on a stake while singing hymns of praise, unless God interprets screaming in agony as praise. On the other hand, if I had been Cassie Bernall, I would have said, “Yes” also, even with a gun pointed at my head, knowing this individual would most likely take my life. (Columbine High School) People die every day by natural causes, accidents, illness etc. but you don’t get many people dying in the name of God.
The Romans persecution of early Christians is how martyrs came about. Cassie Bernall is a modern-day martyr and if someone would ever hold a gun to my head and ask if I believe in God, I firmly believe I would answer “yes” knowing that mostly likely, I would not wake be waking up the next day.

Choosing the next King
Almighty God used his servent Samuel to establish the kingship of Israel. Samuel was instructed to invite Jesse, a sheep herder to a sacrificial ceremony. During this ceremony, the future king was to be appointed. Jesse arrived in Bethlehem with six of his seven sons.
Each son was brought before Samuel for God to decide if he was worthy of the kingship. Jesse’s six sons were presented and each rejected. God instructed Samuel to ask for the seventh son. Jesse had let him in the fields with the herd. When the youngest son, about seventeen years old arrived, God found him to be worthy of the title “King of Israel.” David was immediately anointed a chosen man of God.
The Philistine’s were gathered in Judah on one side of a mountain while the Israelites were gathered on the other side of the creek. The Valley of Elah separated the Philistines from the Israelites and there they engaged in an ongoing war.
The Philistine champion, Goliath of Gath made trip to the valley each morning and evening for forty days. He was a giant of a man, standing over nine feet tall and armored to the hilt for battle. He taunted the Israelites challenging them to “choose a man and have him come down to me. If he is able to fight and kill me, we will become your subjects; but if I overcome him and kill him, you will become our subjects and serve us.”

David, still a teenager was sent to the battle zone by his father with food and words of encouragement to his seven younger brothers. When David arrived, he saw and heard the words of the giant Palestine but he did not run in fear. Fearless, David declares he can slay the giant because he is a chosen servant of God.
The Israelites were dumb-founded by the young man’s bravery but not convinced he would be their saving grace. They offered him their best spears, swords and armor but David passed on their gifts. Carrying his shepherds’ staff, he made his way to the creek choosing five smooth stones from the stream and put them in the leather bag at his waist. David approached Goliath with his sling in his hand and said “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin but I come against you in the name of the Lord. Today I will strike you down and behead you.”
Enraged, Goliath charged David. David slipped a stone from his bag and slung it at the Philistine. The stone struck Goliath in the forehead and he fell, face first, onto the ground. David ran to the giant’s body, pulled out the dead man’s sword, and sliced off his head. The Philistine’s retreated in fear and King Saul was pleased. He appointed David a high rank within the Israelite army.

What it boiled down to was faith. David had faith in God to protect him from Goliath and lead him in slaying the giant who defied God.

I take comments on my blog without flinching. Whether you are on Team Pattie, my classmate, part of my family, a friend, or my husband’s girlfriend I read what everyone writes. I’ve never had my feelings hurt by comments. Good or bad…I take, learn from them and move on.
There have been many “religious people” commenting on my blog about my faith and the dangers of creating a new religion. I read your comments. I let you preach. It’s all cool. I’ve managed to grow super thick skin. A personal fact about me: I have a very stong, undeniable belief in God. Now today I noticed a pastor had posted on my Facebook “sick” under my Lady Gaga blog. I asked her if she read the paper and she said yes. I asked if she knew it was fiction and she didn’t care what it was in my world, to her it was “sick” and the rudeness of her answers followed by “Anything else?” prompted me to write:
Nope, nothing else. I’m glad my Religions professor liked it. Your rudeness makes me glad i don’t even know where your church is.
That comment on FB caused her to shoot me this private message:
Look, first off missy I don;t know why you even ever requested my friendship. I ignore all the weird things that you post and quite honestly I don’t mind just deleting you so goodbye. Oh and Patty… if I would ever have to put the book down for a minute I would.
Fine by me.
Amy deleted me immediately. Now most of the preachers and religious folk realize it was a college final paper. Some even complimented me on it.
Amy did not and now….she is gone.

Full of charisma
The charismatic leader Lady Gaga has presented her followers with the 10 Commandments of the 21st Century. The guide stones are located in Elberton, GA and were placed there by an anonymous group. While not specifically stated, they are believed to be the creation of the Illuminati. There is no formal church sight at this time but access to Lady Gaga and her interpretation of Ga’s word can be found online at her official website. Her website also includes a link to join The Church of Ga. Lady Gaga is a strong leader and shares her message in her music, tattoos, hair styles and photographs. Her most shocking revelation is the end of the world on December 21st 2012. To reach the understanding “the end of times is near” we will start with Lady Gaga and her new religious movement.
She announced on live television worldwide: “I’m so honored for all the little monsters and self-professed freaks of the universe. Ga put me on Earth for three reasons: To make loud music, gay videos and cause a damn ruckus!” (Lady Gaga Sept 12, 2010 MTV music awards)
And make a ruckus she did.
This new religious movement was founded on Catholicism. Lady Gaga was raised Catholic and defends her Catholic beliefs. She presents herself as the mother to “monsters” and everyone is welcome to follow her and her teachings. Her stage presence, elaborate costumes, props, and symbolism draw in followers with her songs. That message is “follow what I do and say….dress like me if you want…otherwise just adore me. I take all of you!”
An important message to her little monsters is the significance of The Georgia Guidestones. The GA Guidestones are located in Elberton, GA. The 10 Commandment of the 21st Century were dedicated on March 22, 1980. Made of granite and engraved in eight languages, the tablets were created as a life guide to the people remaining on earth after the apocalypse. Thirty-one years after the Guidestones were assembled in Georgia, Lady Gaga announced to her followers “I had a dream and must share it with you. It was God and he told me his name is GA and I was his chosen messenger. This message is to all of us on earth about our future socially established code. Watch with your own eyes, see the symbolism in my messages. Listen to my songs, watch my videos, and recognize what is right and wrong. The end of times is near and there will be severe changes. The chosen 500,000,000 people remaining on earth must live by these ten laws.”

There will be no Christmas to celebrate next year. Most of you will go to Heaven, many will be taken by The Baphomet to hell and those remaining will begin a new life here on Earth. I dedicate my life to sharing GA’s message with you. Following the apocalypse we will focus on the important messages from GA. Population on the earth is very important. I have not learned the exact methods of GA in controlling the population, but as I am told, I will share the message with you. Now and in the future, staying healthy and eating good food is essential. As you shop for food, remember being in the best shape possible is a goal. People must get along. Do not place blame on other but hold yourself accountable for your actions. Resist those that test your faith. Believe in GA. Understand that GA is of the Heavens, an alien. You see, because I receive this message from GA I know there will be a resistance to our cause. You must be good to each other because the future of Earth is dependent upon those who can unite. Acceptance of all people, no matter of race, sexual orientation, or religious beliefs must be socially established. The “homosexual panic” sweeping over the earth generated by my song “Born This Way” is the message to those people who are in denial of homosexuality. Social acceptance is the key to stopping the thrusting of our fellow humans into the outer darkness that separates one person as ‘normal’ while another as ‘abnormal’.”
We must over-throw the government and start over. Most of the politicians will go at the time of the apocalypse. The governmental officials remaining will follow GA’s guides as instructed to re-establish the new world. External disputes will no longer exist as the five hundred million people remaining will have peace on Earth and live in a new, utopian life.
There will be no written laws on pettiness. Officials of the old religions will be replaced both in religious sanctions and governmental rule. No one will tell you who to love or who to marry. Only those left are worthy, and may choose freely. We will repopulate the earth with our Monster seed.
Be yourself, but act with correctness. We will be changing the world. This world is full of hate and we have the ability to make the change to love. It is GA’s desire for his people to start a new society by forming new families. The hateful people will be taken to eternal pain and suffering at the hands of Satan.
Be honest with others. Be honest with yourself. Show your inner beauty and embrace it. We will grow in harmony for eternity. Heed what the ancient Mayans have taught for they were correct. GA has had the end of the world determined longer than imaginable. The Mayans used the stars and planets of the Heavens to determine the end of the world. That date is December 21st 2012. When the blue comet passes the earth, the result will be a new earth for GA’s followers. You can’t buy a house in heaven, GA must decide if your final home will be with him. It’s been a long time since I came around but I’m back in town and this time I’m not leaving without you. Ga will judge the people of Earth. If you are a cancer to earth and to society you will be banished. The earth needs to replenish its self. By removing six billion people on December 21, 2012, the earth will be cleared and nature will return. Do not think of this as the fall of humanity, but the pursuit of a new society to reclaim the earth and embrace the opportunity to live in peace with others chosen by GA.

Millions of people have joined online to see what Lady Gaga’s message is about the future. Her message has gained millions of followers, all vying to be one of those remaining on earth. Her little monsters have flocked to the GA Guidestones eager to share the messages Lady Gaga has presented to her followers. Serious resistance to her new religious movement has developed.
The Anti-Ga Cultist Resistance Group (AGaCRuG) is out to stop The Church of GA. This group is headed by Mark Dice, author of The Resistance Manifesto. Dice demanded in his book that the Guidestones be “smashed into a million pieces.” He claims the monument of Ga’s commandments are of deep Satanic origin. (Dice) Lady Gaga instructs her followers to ignore this man. The tablets were not created for Satan, but for GA.

Not long after the publication of his book, Phyllis Brooks who runs the Elbert County Chamber of Commerce remembers when the Guidestones were attacked by vandals for the first time ever. The message spray-painted on one tablet was “Jesus will beat u Satanists.” Dice denied any involvement in the assault of the stones. Other defacements asserted that the Council on Foreign Relations is “ran by the devil,” and the September 11, 2001 attacks were an inside job headed President Obama, who is a Muslim. Vandals have also splashed the Guidestones with polyurethane, which is much more difficult to remove than paint. Despite the graffiti artist’s alignment with his views, Dice says he disapproves of their acts. 
The Guidestones were paid for by “R.C. Christian” is homage to the legendary 14th century founder of the Rosicrucians. Secrecy is the hallmark of the Rosicrucian’s. The group announced itself to the world in the early 17th century with a pair of anonymous manifestos. The manifestos created a huge stir across Europe. The Guidestones were created to stress reason and endorse a harmonic relationship with nature. Lady Gaga reveals Rosicrucian symbolism to stress the importance of their work.
Charlie Clamp was the sandblaster who carved each of the 4,000-plus characters on the stones said, “During the hundreds of hours spend etching the guides, I was distracted by strange music and disjointed voices.” In 1980, Clamp did not recognize the music or voices. He has since realized the music and voices were Lady Gaga’s who was not born yet.
The Rosicrucians have been passing down knowledge of a solar cycle that climaxes every 13,000 years. The passing of this blue comet will lead to the devastation of the earth as human now know it. Currently, the recent collapse of the United States financial system will eventually result in major disruptions of oil and food supplies. Mass riots and ethnic wars will break out worldwide with all of this chaos leading up to December 21st 2012.
A local minister in Elberton, James Travenstead, predicted that “occult groups” would flock to the Guidestones, and warned that someday a sacrifice would take place there. Lady Gaga has stated The Guidestones are not a sacrificial altar, but a marker for GA to land his ship on the day of the apocalypse. When viewed from directly overhead, they form an X and are the ideal landing area. All monsters remaining on earth will gather at the GA Guidestones. Have faith; there is a way for all of us to gather. The ritual of communion will be preformed to all. We will join in singing and dancing in joy as the Father of Jesus arrives in his most glorious! A time of celebration as GA reveals himself to his followers.
The great alien will arrive by UFO in the sky to a joyous celebration. Aliens have always been present as they have watched over the earth for centuries. Charles Berlitz and William Moore were correct that UFO activity is significant. Roswell and the events that have taken place in New Mexico area are facts. Visitors to earth from the Heavens should not be viewed as hostile. People who tell stories of hostile abduction were not taken by messengers of GA, but demons sent by Satan. (Partridge) The government is hiding the fact that there is life on other planets and that GA’s disciples are watching over us. Some may see GA’s watchers as angels or ghosts. Other people may see them as demons, disease or death.
Lady Gaga explains, “The Lord GA has been commonly recognized as “God” in many, but not all faiths. I pray to GA everyday and ask for guidance. At night I dream the most wicked and horrible nightmares. These dreams are messages from GA. I see the wickedness of the people on earth and must share these dreams with you in my works of art. If I must cover my naked body with the social issues of the world, I will.”

The OK sign: The world is going to be okay. GA doesn’t want any monsters to panic before or after the apocalypse. He assures us it is a fresh start and those chosen will be fine. This symbol is used often to reassure monsters that the wait for a new world is worth it.

Sun, Moon, Stars, and Planets: These signs show respect to GA in his creation of objects in the Heavens. GA created these other celestial places and objects for a reason. They are his guides in the sky.
Lightning: bolts of lightning through a body or coming from within something. This is an Illuminati symbol of power.

The Baphomet: This was once a winged creature. This creature is powerful and evil. He is depicted on tarot cards as Satan.

Inverted Cross: Satanist invert the Christian symbol of Jesus death during their secret ritual services.
Triangles: Warn of danger to humans. An example would be the Devil’s Triangle located in the band of vile vortices along the equator. Ten of these triangular vortexes exist worldwide.

Reflecting on GA
I developed this new religious movement based on the Georgia Guidestones and my fascination with this granite monument. The combination of the Guidestones and singer Lady Gaga was an easy connection. Conspiracy theories link Lady Gaga to multiple organizations such as The Illuminati, The Rosecrucians and Satanic cults. As I viewed pictures of her and watched her videos I could easily spot all the symbolism displayed for the world to see. The fact that she refers to herself as a mother of little monsters sealed the deal.
In constructing my NRM I based it one Lady Gaga’s Catholic upbringing. I viewed her interview with Katie Couric on Thanksgiving Day and was touched at the sincerity in her stories, songs and words. Initially, I was going to take the story depicting Lady Gaga as a cult leader but eventually came to realize she was an inspiring person who could easily be the head of a NRM.
Blending Catholicism and Ancient Alien Theory, I came up with the New World belief. Lady Gaga instructed by Ga, would spread the message of his return by UFO to the Guidestone monument. I used the date based on the Mayan calendar for the end of the world; December 21st 2012. The more I learned about Lady Gaga the easier it became for me to realize how she could get millions of people to follow her based on faith. Millions already look up to her as an advocate for human rights. Her stand on accepting people who are diverse is passionate and a testament of her faith in God.
The Georgia Guidestones are recent sculpture and give a message in eight languages. There is no doubt the world is the intended audience. Lady Gaga reaches the world daily in some form and on occasion graces us locally. She doesn’t hide from the “real world” but encourages people to be themselves, just as the Guidestones direct.
Creating a fictional NRM was incredibly helpful in understanding how NRMs started in the past and how they start now. New religions are developed by people looking for a new way to understand a faith. Using the methodology of Geertz, I further developed a Lady Gaga sending messages with her eyes and symbols so followers would recognize what is right and wrong with society in this century. (Geertz 6) The ideology of a new world and apocalyptic times based on the “Nexus of Novelty” typology stressed to the followers of this NRM. Lady Gaga is a disciple of God intent on spreading the meaning of this typology. (D&A 5) Also important to a NRM is the role of charismatic leader as a guide to the followers. This type of leader can influence their followers in unimaginable ways. (D&A 12)
I also explored the sociological theory of religion and could relate the actions of Lady Gaga and the message she teaches is acceptance of all people. As Berger touched on in The Sacred Canopy people must not be pushed into the darkness of what separates one person as normal and another as abnormal. This made a great connection to Lady Gaga as she defends the rights of people. (Berger 24)
The stories of people who claim to have been abducted by aliens in Partridge’s book UFO Religions influenced my decision on what form GA would take. The alien stories seemed to have been a negative experience and in developing this religion, I wanted the possibility of an alien coming to earth as a positive experience for the earth. (Partridge 6,10)
This final for the NRM course helped clarify how and why religious movements are developed. Given creative freedom in developing a NRM the experience has been eye-opening in many respects. Gaining knowledge about NRMs, The Georgia Guidestones, alien theories and Lady Gaga was a good learning experience. I plan to continue elaborating on my fictional religion as a creative writing piece of work. The interest in Lady Gaga is immense and will attract many people to read about my fictional religious movement.
