Lemons to Lemonade

Matthew’s lemonade stand was a tremendous success.  Over two hot days, for 7 and a half hours each, sitting in the baking sun, he raised $305.47!  Approximately 150 people stopped by for a cup of lemonade or to make a donation.  All the proceeds were donated yesterday to the Gold Star Mother’s Memorial based in York, PA.

Excellent work Matthew!  I commend his dedication to this fundraising over those two days as I don’t believe there are that many 11 year olds who would graciously dedicate their holiday weekend to a non-profit organization.
