My fascination with old houses and buildings began very young, maybe 6 years old, and has only grown since. This house has been one of my favorites ever since I was a little child. Originally the Weaver house, with the “home dressed meat” shop around the corner on 7 West Canal Street, the house has had dramatic changes from when it was first built at 2 North Main Street.
Harry C. Lehr remodeled this house into the beautiful home it is today.

Weavers Meat Market is not for sale at this time. The building is for sale not the business.
The owner is not Mr. Weaver so get your information correct.
I was given this information. If the name “Weaver’s” is not part of the sale of the building, I understand. If Weaver’s don’t own the building, I understand. What I don’t understand is why anonymous people feel free to be rude to me when I’m just trying to share interesting information about Dover. ~P.
